The food has been serving me goodddddd in Central America.
I kinda feel immune to food poisoning after experiencing it so severe the first week. So I’ve been eating mostly street food since then, even though I’ve been advised not to by multiple resources.
Overall I feel like street food is better (and safer) than restaurant food, since they’re preparing it right in front of you.
However, this little restaurant in Antigua really has the best (budget-proof) taco’s and quesadilla’s.
I also got a quite disgusting drink called “Cimarrrona” because I like to try new things. It’s basically soda, limes and salt
instead of sugar. They say it’s the best hangover cure and I’m sure they’re right. It still tasted like salt water though, so I wasn’t a fan.
